May 7, 2013. Yekaterinberg, Russia — You may have figured that I was either truly lost in Siberia, or the internet connections were non existent or bad. Apparently the latter. I have only a few minutes until we move on or I lose the connection, so just a word or two about the trip. We are over 1000 miles from Moscow, on the other side of the Ural Mountains, at the western edge of Siberia.

So far the trip is going well. I’ll tell you more later. I just wanted to  make sure that I could actually connect and at least let you know that we were doing fine.
